T-Mobile US wins higher share of switchers in Q1 - survey

T-Mobile US added more customers proportionally than AT&T, Verizon and Sprint in the first quarter, according to a Consumer Intelligence Research (CIRP) survey of 500 people who activated a phone in the period. The study found that 42 percent of new phone activators at T-Mobile, including MetroPCS, came from other carriers, compared to 30 percent for Sprint, including Boost Mobile, 14 percent for Verizon and 10 percent for AT&T. At the same time, the proportion of phone activators lost to other carriers was 18 percent for T-Mobile, 27 percent for Sprint, 17 percent for Verizon and 16 percent
