T-Mobile USA CEO steps down
T-Mobile USA's Philipp Humm has resigned as the company's CEO. Jim Alling, chief operating officer of T-Mobile USA, will take over the duties of CEO on an interim basis while a search is underway. Humm is going to pursue a career outside of Deutsche Telekom so as to reunite with his family, which remains in Europe. When Humm joined Deutsche Telekom, he was initially responsible for the company's mobile business in Germany. He then took on the responsibility of managing the sales and service activities of the European mobile companies within Deutsche Telekom Group.

Trujillo talks to private-equity on T-Mobile bid - report

Vodafone hires T-Mobile's Humm to head north Europe

Vodafone Group is setting up two new operating regions for its European activities. The mobile operator has hired Philipp Humm, the former Deutsche Telekom executive and T-Mobile USA CEO, to head up the new Northern & Central Europe division, which includes Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, Turkey, Ireland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Romania.
