T-Mobile, Verizon, Apple, Amazon donate to California campaign to get kids online

The governor of California announced an agreement with major telecom operators and internet charities to provide internet access and devices for families with kids in school. This is expected to help children in low-income households who need to go online to continue their studies during the coronavirus lockdown. Internet access for hundreds of thousands of households and over 70,000 laptops, Chromebooks and tablets will be provided for students.
