T-Mobile wins contract for Crossyn connected car service

Monday 12 September 2016 | 09:46 CET | News
T-Mobile Netherlands announced a contract with Crossyn, a Dutch start-up providing M2M services to consumer cars. The company deploys a black box in cars that can collect information on the electronic systems in the car and save it in the cloud. T-Mobile signed a five-year contract to provide connectivity services for "thousands" of connections on the IoT platform. Crossyn plans to start testing its services this year, including services for insurers interested in collecting information on customers. Crossyn also targets direct sales to consumers, to help save on maintenance costs.
