T-Mobile zero-rating offer faces net neutrality probe

Dutch regulator ACM has confirmed plans to investigate T-Mobile Netherlands' zero-rated music offer for possible violations of net neutrality rules. The announcement comes as the Dutch parliament approved the implementation of the EU net neutrality regulation in Dutch law, with the ACM designated as the enforcing body. The ACM noted that the Dutch law takes a much stricter stance than the guidelines proposed by the EU regulator Berec. These allow internet providers to offer some services cheaper or free under well-defined conditions, while the Dutch law prohibits all such price
