T-Systems, Deutsche Post sign multimillion data centre deal

T-Systems and Deutsche Post DHL have signed a five year agreement valued in the high hundreds of million euro range to run the mail service's data centres. Under the agreement, T-Systems will run and further develop the data centres, networks and workplace systems of Deutsche Post. Deutsche Post will migrate its existing IT platforms to the t-Systems cloud. Both companies will migrate their different infrastructures for voice and data traffic to a homogenous IP-based network.
