Tablet sales to fall 1% in 2017 followed by 'moderate' rise

Following two years of steady decline, the tablet market is set to dip just 1 percent in 2017 before rebounding with "moderate" growth to 2020, led by demand for 2-in-1s, Windows tablets and enterprise sales, according to a report from Strategy Analytics. Recent price declines for 2-in-1 tablets and premium tablets meant for PC replacement in developing markets is beginning to have an effect on consumer demand, with vendors such as Apple showing signs of resurgence, said the report.
