Tablets to replace workplace laptops in 10 years - study

More than half (52%) of UK workers believe tablets will replace laptops in the workplace within 10 years, according to research from EE. Almost one third (31%) said that workplace laptop usage is falling, with 24 percent of workers saying they have now transitioned to tablets. The study also shows that businesses are now keeping tablets for longer, with 30 percent keeping them for more than three years.
