TalkTalk calls for full structural separation of Openreach

TalkTalk has published its response to Ofcom's public consultation on the proposed increased separation of BT and its wholesale arm Openreach. As one of Openreach's biggest customers, TalkTalk said it's in favour of Ofcom imposing full structural separation from BT. TalkTalk said the regulator is under pressure from BT to merely "re-arrange the deck chairs", despite Ofcom itself admitting that structural separation is the best long-term solution. The consultation closed on 04 October. Prior to that TalkTalk helped organise the public campaign 'Fix Britain's Internet' to encourage the public
