TalkTalk signs up to Ofcom Nuisance Calls MoU

TalkTalk has signed up to Ofcom's Nuisance Calls Memorandum of Understanding in the UK. TalkTalk blocks nuisance calls at a network level, and claims to prevent around 70 million calls each month. A total of 10 communications providers have signed to the MoU to date. The others are BT, Sky, Virgin Media, EE, Vodafone, Hutchison 3G UK (3 UK), Telefonica UK (O2), Kcom Group and Gamma Telecom. They will voluntarily implement technical measures, aimed at reducing certain types of nuisance calls.
