Tango Q2 revenue falls despite customer additions

Belgacom mobile subsidiary Tango Luxembourg reported a revenue down 12.6 percent to EUR 28 million in the second quarter, compared with EUR 32 million in the first quarter of 2013, due to a regulated increase in mobile termination rates at the beginning of the year. The operator's total active customer base grew by 3.2 percent in a year to reach 283,000 at the end of June. It added 2,500 customers in the quarter thanks to the success of customer-oriented offers such as a 30 days of roaming every summer at no additional charge. Blended net ARPU decreased by 12 percent to EUR 27.30 a month in
