TCL Communication sees Q2 shipments fall 33%

TCL Communication Technology, the maker of Alcatel brand phones, reported its second-quarter shipments down 33 percent year-on-year to 10.624 million units. The annual decline slowed slightly from a 39 percent drop in Q1 to 10.546 million units. TCL released in Q2 its first phone under its new licensing deal with BlackBerry.
