TDC praises plan for Danish centre to research effects of internet use on public health

Danish operator TDC said it backs a proposal to set up a Danish centre to investigate the effects of high internet use on public health. A majority in parliament favours setting up such a centre, it said. Currently, 97 percent of Danes over the age of 12 go online every day, and 80 percent of them use social media.
