Tech Data gets shareholder approval of Apollo takeover amid lower Q1

Tech Data reported generally lower results for the first quarter, pulled down by sales in Europe and Asia Pacific. The company said results were affected by the coronavirus pandemic but that demand was strong for its Endpoint Solutions, driven by remote work and business needs. Tech Data added that it received shareholder approval for its planned takeover by Apollo and that it is now looking forward to closing the deal upon completion of the usual conditions.
