Tech industry calls on EU leaders to reject digital tax plan

Tech industry groups have called on European leaders to reject a proposal to impose a new digital tax in the EU and work instead with the OECD to adapt fiscal policies to internet business models. The joint statement from the CCIA, TechUK, IBEC and ITI comes ahead of an EU summit on 28-29 June when leaders are expected to discuss digital taxation.
