Tele Columbus upgrades digital TV offering

German cable network operator Tele Columbus will launch a new digital TV offering for customers on its Berlin network from 15 October. The number of private free-to-air channels in the HD-Package will be increased from 7 to 17, including HD versions of RTL II, Super RTL, RTL Nitro, n-tv, DMAX, VIVA, Tele 5, Deluxe Music, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central, on top of RTL, ProSiebenSat.1 and Sport1 channels. Tele Columbus will also boost the number of HD channels in the Extra HD pay-TV package from 6 to 10.
