Tele Columbus well positioned to continue growth alone

German cable network operator Tele Columbus insists that it is a strong position to continue its successful business after the Federal Cartel Office blocked its proposed merger with rival Kabel Deutschland. In 2012, Tele Columbus saw sales rise to EUR 237 million, with EBITDA up around 10 percent to EUR 94.2 million. The company invested around EUR 62 million to expand its network and upgrade the infrastructure to the EuroDOCSIS 3.0 standard.
