Tele2 AGM rejects motion to transfer Class B shares to 2020 incentive scheme

Tuesday 12 May 2020 | 12:02 CET | News
Tele2 said that shareholders at its 11 May AGM passed a motion authorising the  issue of up to 3 million Class C shares and repurchase of all Class C shares in the company in connection with a new long-term incentive scheme. It also authorised the board to sell Tele2's Class B shares to cover costs related to incentive schemes from 2018 – LTI 2020. They did not approve the transfer of Class B shares to participants in LTI 2020, so the board will return with a proposal or information regarding a method to deliver shares under the scheme.
