Tele2 asks Swedish govt to stop Sapo data gathering plan

The government must call a halt to security police Sapo's campaign to obtain automatic access to telecommunications and data traffic information, said Tele2 Sweden CEO Thomas Ekman and its head of legal counsel Stefan Backman, in an opinion piece in Swedish broadsheet Svenska Dagbladet (SvD). They said Tele2 refuses to compromise the integrity of its customer information, and would never stop examining requests for data carefully.
