Tele2 Austria Q1 sales and EBITDA improve

Tele2 Austria said net sales in the first quarter rose to SEK 300 million from SEK 291 million. EBITDA improved slightly to SEK 50 million from SEK 49 million. The total Austrian customer base shrank by 8,000 over the first quarter to 248,000. The number of customers for fixed broadband dropped by 1,000 during the quarter to 107,000, and fixed telephony customers declined by 7,000 over the period to 141,000. Tele2 Austria has entered the mobile market as an MVNO.
