Tele2 changes group governance model, creates Business Leadership Team

Tuesday 3 December 2019 | 12:42 CET | News

Tele2 has announced changes to its leadership team, saying its group governance model has been reviewed to emphasise speed, simplicity and accountability. It will now have a Group Leadership Team, complemented by a wider Business Leadership Team. This reflects Tele2’s international consolidation, merger with Com Hem and dedicated focus on Sweden and the Baltic region.

The Group Leadership Team comprises Anders Nilsson as president and CEO, Mikael Larsson as CFO, Karin Svensson as EVP for People and Change, Kim Hagberg as EVP Chief Operations, Samuel Skott as EVP Chief Commercial Officer, and Stefan Backman as EVP Group General Counsel and Director of Wholesale Business.

Tele2’s Business Leadership Team will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and may change over time to represent key functions and critical projects in Tele2’s journey. The Business Leadership Team covers existing members

Fredrik Stenberg as EVP for Transformation & Operational Excellence and acting Director LE, Joss Delissen as EVP for IT, Joel Westin as EVP for Strategy & Business Development,  Thomas Helbo as EVP for Technology and Viktor Wallstrom as EVP for Communications & Sustainability.

The Business Leadership Town also comprises new members, representing key functions. They are Bodil Prising as Director for New Growth, Daniel Johansson as Head of Business Control & Billing, Erik Lindstrom as Director of Customer Operations, Frida Jacobson as Head of Finance Transformation, Greg Lensch as Director of IoT, Holger Fritz as Mass Market Sales Director, James Mahon as Director of Consumer Commercial & Product, Jessica Kirchmeier as Director of Comhem Play, Jessica Levin, as SME Director, Jonas Lundquist as Marketing Director, Monika Gullin, as Head of Consumer IT, Nathalie Dahmm and Head of Culture & Leadership and Stefan Trampus as Network Operator Director.

As previously announced, Baltics CEO Petras Masiulis has overarching responsibility for Tele2’s businesses in the Baltic region and Germany, reporting directly to Anders Nilsson, but not as part of the Group Leadership Team or Business Leadership Team.

Tele2 will adjust its reporting structure from the Q4 interim report by combining the Sweden Consumer, the Sweden Business and the IoT Segments into one segment. The change will be made retrospectively by changing historic numbers for comparability.

Tele2 said that making its organisation flatter and more integrated brings management closer to the customer and employees closer to each other.
