Tele2 Croatia introduces 4G home internet service
Tele2 Croatia has introduced a new high-speed internet service for households called 'Pokucni internet', based on its 4G network available nationwide. The home Wi-Fi router can connect up to 32 devices at the same time. To activate the service, users just need to insert the Sim card in the Tele2 router. It is especially suited for people who live in areas where until now it was only possible to have very slow internet via a DSL connection, Tele2 said. 

The new service provides a maximum speed of up to 150 Mbps with 4G access. Three packages are on offer: 30 GB for HRK 139, 50 GB for HRK 169 and 100 GB for HRK 269 per month. For business users, Tele2 offers a 300 GB package for HRK 299.

Tele2 Croatia sees 10% growth in Q2 sales

Tele2 Croatia ended the second quarter of 2016 with net sales of SEK 369 million, up 10 percent on the same period in 2015, due to higher equipment sales. EBITDA amounted to SEK 20 million, down by 43 percent from SEK 35 million a year earlier, negatively affected by higher spectrum fees. EBIT was SEK 3 million, compared to a negative SEK 6 million in Q2 2015.

Tele2 claims it saves Croatians HRK 2 billion per year

Since its arrival on the Croatian market, Tele2 has enabled the local population to save HRK 11 billion in the period from 2006 to 2012, or nearly HRK 2 billion per year, according to the president of the Board of Tele2 Hrvatska, Viktor Pavlinic. Tele2 Croatia sees 4% growth in Q1 sales

Tele2 Croatia ended the first quarter of 2016 with net sales of SEK 316 million, up 4 percent on the same period in 2015. EBITDA amounted to SEK 11 million, down by 48 percent from SEK 21 million a year earlier, hurt by higher spectrum fees and increased marketing investments. Tele2 Croatia launches 4G network

Tele2 Croatia has launched a nationwide 4G network, covering 90 percent of the population. The operator said it's the first on the market to offer 4G by default to post-paid and pre-paid customers on all tariffs. The 4G service enables speeds of up to 150 Mbps across the entire 4G coverage.
