Tele2 has no objection to proposed Swedish legal amendments on data retention

Tele2 Sweden said proposed new Swedish legislation concerning data retention has its shortcomings but provides a better balance than previous laws in terms of balance between tackling crime and preserving privacy. For this reason, it has no plans to object. Changes of which Tele2 approves include increased requirements for prior authorisation, and differentiated storage periods.
