Tele2 Kazakhstan adds online payment facility to e-shop
Mobile operator Tele2 Kazakhstan said that it has started accepting online payments for orders made at its online shop. The shop previously operated on a cash-on-delivery (COD) basis. Customers using online payments at the e-shop in May can enter a prize draw to win a Sony Xperia smartphone.

Tele2 Kazakhstan expands Everything That Is Necessary

Mobile operator Tele2 Kazakhstan has expanded the coverage of its Everything That Is Necessary tariff. It had already been made available in the Zhambyl and Southern Kazakhstan regions and is now also being offered to subscribers in the Akmola, Mangystau and Atyrau regions. The service provides 125 minutes of calls to other Kazakhstan networks, unlimited on-net calls, an SMS bundle, 5 GB of mobile internet traffic and free access to the Night Drive service for KZT 990 per month.

Tele2 Kazakhstan starts services for Nurbank

Mobile operator Tele2 Kazakhstan has signed an agreement to provide telecom services for the Nurbenk bank, reports Profit.kz. Over 800 staff working at the bank's headquarters will use the operator's mobile services. Nurbank has switched to Tele2 Kazakhstan over the Mobile Number Porting (MNP) service from mobile operator Kcell. The bank expects to reduce mobile expenses by around 51 percent with the new contract.

Tele2 Kazakhstan adds 428,000 subscribers in Q1

Subscribers of the mobile operator Tele2 Kazakhstan reached 3.7 million in the end of March. The total grew by 428,000 quarter-on-quarter and was up by 1 million year-on-year. The operator claims that the increase was mainly related to its attractive tariff plan bundling voice and data. Net sales grew by 15 percent year-on-year to SEK 399 million in the first quarter, and mobile service revenues grew by 46 percent to SEK 315 million.
