Tele2 NL boosts customer growth after higher marketing spend

Tele2 Netherlands has accelerated its above-the-line marketing since the fourth quarter of 2016 when it launched its new mobile network and 4G services. Rsearch by Telecompaper shows a clear correlation between the higher marketing spend and mobile customers growth at the operator. The company showed a drop in spending in 2015 and added just 3,000 new mobile customers in Q4 2015. Its gross advertising budget was EUR 8.4 million in 2015.
