Tele2 sees FY results at high end of forecast

Tele2 reported third-quarter sales up 1 percent to SEK 6.584 billion, helped by an 8 percent increase in mobile service revenue. EBITDA improved 14 percent to SEK 1.682 billion, driven by improved monetisation of mobile data services. Excluding currency effects, revenues were down 1 percent from a year earlier and EBITDA rose 11 percent. Tele2 moved to a net profit of SEK 762 million in the quarter from a loss of SEK 123 million a year ago.
