Tele2 starts new strategy to save annual SEK 1 bln from 2018

The Tele2 Group announced a new strategy for the company, including The Challenger Program, which it says will boost productivity in entire company. Tele2 made the statement during a briefing in London. The programme is expected to yield annual productivity savings of around SEK 1 billion from 2018 onwards, following a multi-year investment plan that will cost around SEK 1 billion. The one-off charge will be phased at 20 percent in Year 1, 50 percent in Year 2 and 30 percent in Year 3. Benefits will accrue at a slightly lower pace to investments in Year 1 and 2, but achieve the full run rate
