Tele2 Sweden has announced the launch of a new video streaming bundle called Tele2 Play Tv+ and added that Comhem Play is changing its name to Tele2 Play. Tele2 took over Com Hem in 2018.
Tele2 Play Tv+ lets viewers stream the 21 most popular linear television channels even without a TV receiver, a well as films, serials, documentaries and family shows from providers such as Paramount+ and Nordisk Film+. It is available to existing Tele2 and Comviq brand mobile and broadband customers for SEK 129 per month with no tie-in commitment.
The linear channels provided by the new Tele2 Play Tv+ are SVT1, SVT2, SVT 24, SVT Barn, Kunskapskanalen, TV3, Tv4, Kanal 5, TV6, Sjuan, TV8, Kanal 9, TV10, Kanal 11, TV12, ATG Live, National Geographic, TLC, Godare, Expressen TV and Axess TV. Customers can watch it anywhere in the EU on their phone or tablet. It is also available using Chromecast, Airplay, Samsung TV, Apple TV and Android TV.
The old Com Hem service that has now become Tele2 Play will vary in what it provides, depending on what the customer has subscribed to. For example, pay-TV customers can use it to watch all the channels they get on their receiver.
There is also a third OTT service, called Tele2 Play+, at SEK 89 per month. This one supplies hundreds of films, series, documentaries and family programmes from partners such as Paramount+ and Nordisk Film+
