Tele2 Sweden halves size of SIM card holders to cut CO2 emissions by 35 tons

Tele2 Sweden said it has become the first telecoms operator in the Nordic countries to bring out a half-sized SIM holder in order to reduce plastic waste. By decreasing the holder size by half, each card requires half as much raw material and weighs 55 percent less. This means Tele2 Sweden will save about 6 tons of plastic each year, and cut CO2 emissions by 35 tons.
