Tele2 underlines competition concerns in spectrum policy

The Dutch government needs to ensure fair market conditions and protect competition as part of its spectrum policy, according to Tele2. While its rivals KPN, Vodafone and T-Mobile have criticised the limited amount and types of spectrum proposed in the government's latest policy paper, Tele2 said it was more concerned about the competitive balance. Spokesman Jan-Willem te Gussinklo told Telecompaper that in the past, the lack of a level playing field had hampered innovation.
