Tele2 values Norwegian assets held for sale at SEK 4 bln

Tele2 agreed on 07 July to sell its Norwegian arm to TeliaSonera, and Tele2 Norway is now reported under discontinued operations in the group's income statement for the second quarter, with no sales, profit or subscriber figures given. In connection with the deal, Tele2 reported assets held for sale worth SEK 4.092 billion in its balance sheet as of 30 June. TeliaSonera is buying Tele2 Norway for an enterprise value of SEK 5.1 billion, equivalent to a cash value of SEK 5.3 billion.
