Telebras launches new satellite internet products

Brazilian state-owned telecom company Telebras has presented its new line of satellite products for ISPs at the Abrint exhibition. TelebrasSat is a high-capacity satellite broadband service with Ka-band coverage in 100 percent of Brazil. The corporate plans are designed for broadband connections in areas lacking internet coverage with terrestrial technologies. Initially three packages are offered: 20 GB for light data consumption, 50 GB for intermediate data consumption and 100 GB for intensive data consumption.
