Telebras wins Tier IV certification for satellite operations centre

Telebras received the Tier IV certification for the Main Space Operations Center (COPE-P), which becomes the second data centre with this certification in Brazil and the first in the public sector. The Tier IV certification, granted by the Uptime Institute, covers the infrastructure built for the installation and operation of the SGDC satellite. It guarantees that its construction was implemented as designed and ensures that the critical infrastructure is capable of meeting the defined availability requirements, based on tests performed, considering extreme situations.
