Telecel Zimbabwe CEO denies incompetence

Telecel Zimbabwe CEO Angeline Vere has dismissed claims that she is too incompetent to run the struggling mobile firm effectively, New Zimbabwe reported. Vere blamed the tough economic environment and power outages for the organisation's poor performance. Vere said Telecel's plunge in profits, from USD 56 million to USD 1 million during her tenure, was caused by factors beyond her control.
