Nuance Communications has announced a contract to provide its Dragon TV platform to the new TV service of Argentinian cable TV and broadband provider Telecentro. The conversational AI technology makes it possible for Telecentro subscribers to instantly access the channels, films and programmes they want simply by speaking. Nuance said its platform is fully customisable and can recognise hundreds of thousands of show titles, programmes, movies, genres, channel names and content. Telecentro previously announced that it will roll out its voice-powered service to subscribers starting this week.
