Telecom Agency to study possible impact from earthquakes

The Dutch government's Telecom Agency and the city of Eemsmond have started a pilot project to look for possible weaknesses in the telecom infrastructure due to earthquakes. In addition to the equipment itself, the study will consider the possible impact of network saturation in the event of an earthquake. The project starts in December and will run until the summer of 2017.
