Telecom Italia CEO rejects 'ex-lege' network spin-off

Telecom Italia is a solid company that has no need for interventionist measures such as nationalisation or an 'ex-lege' spin-off of the network, CEO Marco Patuano told a parliamentary hearing on 21 November. Patuano once again reiterated that the equivalence of input model approved by the Board on 07 November represents European best practice as recommended by commissioner Neelie Kroes.
