Telecom Italia to pay EUR 900 one-off bonus to workers

Telecom Italia (TIM) has announced that it will be paying a one-off EUR 900 bonus to its workers in their April salary in view of the results achieved in 2016. CEO Flavio Cattaneo made the announcement in a meeting with the General Secretariats of the SLC-CGIL, FISTEL-CISL, UILCOM-UIL and UGL Telecomunicazioni trade unions during which he set out the details of the company's EUR 11 billion 2017-2019 business plan recently approved by the board of directors. He reiterated that the plan would focus on transforming the company's efficiency through policies based on content, convergence, ICT
