Telecom NZ's separation would be positive in long term

If Telecom New Zealand decides to split off its network division, this would have negative credit implications in the short term, but positive results could emerge over the longer term, NZPA reports citing Moody's Investors Service. Telecom recently said it is seriously considering structural separation to allow it to participate in the New Zealand government's ultra-fast broadband (UFB) project.
