Telefonica acquires 150 tons of medical equipment for Spanish hospitals

Telefonica has acquired an initial batch of 150 tons of basic medical supplies for distribution among hospitals, part of a EUR 25 million commitment to helping Spain's health providers deal with the coronavirus outbreak. It has also set up a multidisciplinary team of more than 50 people from different company areas (Network, Legal, Commercial, Intervention, Purchasing and Fundacion Telefonica) to coordinate, locate, acquire and distribute medical equipment to the health services of Spain's autonomous communities.
