Telefonica adds 10 electric vans to vehicle fleet

Telefonica has reached a deal with Peugeot and corporate leasing firm Alphabet to add ten electric vehicles to the Movistar Spain Operations and Network fleet. Starting this month, the operator will begin to use six electric Peugeot Partner Tepee vans in Madrid and four in Barcelona to save an estimated 2.6 tons of CO2 emissions per vehicle per year. Telefonica is currently upgrading its fleet of vehicles and has so far acquired some 465 vehicles, plus nearly 100 low-consumption vans from Alphabet.
