Telefonica and Netflix extend alliance until 2026

Friday 14 January 2022 | 14:21 CET | News
Telefonica and Netflix have announced a renewal of the carriage deal signed back in May 2018 to integrate the streaming service on the operator's Movistar+ pay-TV platform in Spain. In a series of tweets, the partners said the agreement paves the way for "five more years of great stories together", without providing further details other than a reference to hit series including "Money Heist" and a list of forthcoming Netflix offerings such as the second series of "Bridgerton", the fourth series of "Stranger Things" and the new Spanish title "Feria, The Darkest Light".
