Telefonica announces prices of Mexican fixed-wireless

Friday 26 January 2018 | 11:40 CET | News
Telefonica, which operates under the Movistar brand in Mexico, has unveiled the prices of its fixed-wireless broadband service currently available in the city of Toluca. The 'Full Connection' package comes with 60 GB of data via the company's 4G network at download speeds of 10Mbps and upload speeds of 3Mbps for MXN 399 a month, with the corresponding modem available for a one-off fee of MXN 899. The trial will soon be expanded to other cities such as Tijuana, Guadalajara, San Luis Potosi and Apodaca and, if successful, may be launched commercially as early as the end of the first quarter.
