Telefonica Brasil says data centre asset sales would not affect operational capacity

Friday 15 March 2019 | 14:50 CET | News

The Telefonica Group is assessing the sale of data centre assets, including those of Vivo in Brazil. However, according to Telefonica Brasil's VP of B2B, Alex Salgado, this would not affect in any way the operational capacity of the company or corporate services, reports Teletime. He added that the company is analysing whether it would make sense to sell real estate assets (such as buildings and land) with the subsequent lease-back of space.
