Telefonica, Caixa, Banco Santander launch Yaap joint venture

Telefonica and Spanish financial services providers CaixaBank and Banco Santander have launched 'Yapp', the brand for their digital services joint venture initially announced in 2013. Yaap is a European alliance between banks and telecommunication operators. Its main objective is the creation of digital services that simplify people's daily lives. In the upcoming months, Yaap plans to launch two services, dubbed 'Yaap Shopping' and 'Yaap Money'.
