Telefonica chairman calls on MEPs to rise to 'digital revolution' challenge

The explosion of data traffic requires bold measures on the part of politicians to ensure the whole of society participates in the benefits of the new digital economy, according to Telefonica's chairman and chief executive officer Jose Maria Alvarez-Pallete.
