Telefonica Chile has announced the connection of a further 15,000 addresses in and around the city of Vallenar to its fibre network. The company said it has rolled out around 3,000 kilometres of cable to convert Vallenar into the country's first "100 percent fibre-optic" city with over 50,000 residents and 3,000 companies able to connect at speeds of at least 50 Mbps compared to the 8 Mbps available previously.

Think you need to doublecheck the information on this article. Vallenar is in Chile, not Colombia. https://www.telesemana.com/blog/2018/08/23/movistar-chile-desplego-3-000-km-de-fibra-optica-en-vallenar/
