Telefonica Czech Republic H1 revenues down 5 percent

Telefonica Czech Republic's revenues for the first half decreased by 5 percent from a year earlier to CZK 23.905 billion, and OIBDA fell by 10.3 percent to CZK 9.141 billion. The company reported strong growth in mobile data, where revenues grew by 21.4 percent, and an acceleration in mobile customer growth thanks to the new tariff Free. Telefonica added 113,000 new mobile customers in H1, including 95,000 postpaid, to finish June with a total 5.082 million customers, up 2.3 percent from a year earlier. The prepaid base increased by 3 percent to 1.909 million, and contract customer rose 1.9
