Telefonica Czech Republic launches CS Fallback

Telefonica Czech Republic has remedied the fact that it was the only operator in the country not to provide LTE to customers with a voice tariff. Its 4G network was only available to users of data SIM cards and only for data transmissions. Now, Telefonica has begun providing LTE to voice customers with an LTE phone and appropriate SIM card. It has now launched the CS Fallback function, which allows a fast switch to the 3G/2G network in the case of a voice call. Without the CS Fallback function, it would not be possible simultaneously to use LTE data transmissions and make calls.</p>
