Telefonica Deutschland issues dual-tranche promissory note loan using Blockchain

Telefonica Deutschland announced it has issued a promissory note loan that combines traditional financing with a tranche using Blockchain technology. The promissory note loan carries a target volume of EUR 200 million and was issued with DZ Bank and the Landesbank Baden-Wuerttemberg (LBBW). The Blockchain tranche of the euro-denominated dual-tranche note loan has a tenor of slightly longer than one year, while the traditional component will likely have a tenor of 7 to 15 years, said Telefonica Deutschland.
